YES!!! dump mcafee, don’t even think about norton, and search for and download AVG free.
its the only thing i use on every computer i have, and i do not get viruses, even through heavy torrenting/downloading/gaming.
Free anti virus softwares are good enough to protect you from all the malicious viruses. Get AVG Free. It’s really good.
another thing to think about is that most internet providers will give you a free subscription to a specific antivirus program, eg AT$T does mcafee, comcast does norton, and my school does sophos. dont forget to check those types of sources as well.
