ok, i got the ’system shutdown’ window with the 10 min countdown, then followed instructions online to remove it but couldnt find the infected files or anything in the hkey reg.
Then ran symantec w32 sasser worm removal tool but it said there was no virus found.
So do i have the worm or is it well [...]

I currently have Symantec Antivirus—that has not caught anything in over a year. I know I have malware or virus or something. My advice, switch to another Anti-virus program. Nod32, Kaspersky, Avast, Bit Defender, ANY of those are better than Norton’s crap. I’ve had many problems with that Anti-virus software every time I’ve had the displeasure of using it.
I myself like Avast personally… it’s pretty lean and doesn’t seem to slow my PC down compared to bloated [...]

i have Trojan.Brisv.A!inf virus that popped up on my norton,
