My Norton Antivirus Keeps Blocking Attempts From A Trojan And A Heuristic Virus, How Can I Eliminate It?

i’ve done a full system scan using norton and its didn’t find anything major, only like 3 things and they weren’t serious threats. when i get these messages that norton has blocked said virus attempt my laptop mouse pad wont work ( can be fixed by doing alt ctrl delete ). is there a way i can stop the attempts from the source? i went and deleted a bunch of stuff from my laptop mostly recent stuff but it hasn’t done anything. thanks
