software frequently asked quesitons

I’v seen studio photographers take pictures and then be able to view instantly on the PC screen. I was just wondering how I could, and what I would need e.g. usb cable or wireless reasever and any software. Would be greatful for any advice, tips and tricks.

My mom just bought this laptop yesterday, I don’t know what kind it is, but was working fine until today she tells me she was playing around on it & now there is no wireless connection whatsoever. I have a computer in my room that has internet I just don’t understand why it’s not connecting to the laptop? The laptop says the possible problems could be, network cable, network adapter, wireless settings, DSL or cable motem. Since there is wireless internet I know it can’t be the cable motem problem. Also, Norton is downloaded on it, but is not working, we think that needs to work for the wireless connection to work? Help please, serious inquiries only. i have a virus on my dell xps studio 9100 computer , i called dell and told them my mcAfee fire wall is being turned off every time i try to turn it on .
dell told me it’s a virus that’s blocking the the firewall from being turned back on .
they wanted to charge me over $200.00 for a software service to take care of these issues for one year .
that’s a lot of money and i would like to know if i have other ways i can deal with fixing this problem to get the virus off my computer .

Ok so i had this problem before but today it came back here what it says:

Here are some suggestions:

Check your Internet connection. Restart any router, modem, or other network devices you may be using.
Add Google Chrome as a permitted program in your firewall’s or antivirus software’s settings. If it is already a permitted program, try deleting it from the list of permitted programs and adding it again.
If you use a proxy server, check your proxy settings or contact your network administrator to make sure the proxy server is working. If you don’t believe you should be using a proxy server, adjust your proxy settings: Go to the wrench menu > Options > Under the Hood > Change proxy settings… > LAN Settings and deselect the “Use a proxy server for your LAN” checkbox.
I tried everything it just wont work! i had this problem 2 months ago then YouTube worked fine again
Today i had this problem suddenly i tried to clean the cache and empty cookies and everything but NOTHING!
I’m forced to watch YouTube on that lame *** Internet Explorer that keeps freezing
As for Mozilla it says i need a Adobe Flash update which i did which didnt work -.-
Any tips? oh and please dont tell answers like DOWNLOAD OPERA! DOWNLOAD SAFARI crap what so ever!

I have created an application using VB.NET 2010. I just want to know if it was illegal to allow people to download it from your website.

Any GEEKS out there I really would like to know which is the best anti virus software out there, been looking at so many reviews, I have Kaspersky at the moment not happy with it, it’s crashed my system and given me the BSOD (blue screen of death) not a happy bunny, I don’t want pop ups all the time like Norton, don’t want it to hog my system! Any good suggestions welcome, I don’t mind paying a bit extra if it’s good!

Which is better cost does not matter

I have an Access 2010 database to record accidents in a college. when someone has an accident they fill out a form and send it in. We arrange with IT to have the form electronic instead of paper. Is it possible so that when these forms are sent in, the data can be added straight to the database instead of me having to manually enter it? Thanks
