Spyware Doctor Legit? I Find That Hard To Believe?

I was recently infected with a nasty malware. And I’m in the process of removing it. I have many antivirus/malware programs on my comp. But I downloaded a new one called Spyware Doctor from downloads.cnet. And I scanned with it.
And this is the problem. It found 7 threats and 54 infections ranging from low threat to high threat. And, I just don’t believe that because i have the paid version of norton internet security, i have spybot, and I have malware bytes. And now spywaredoctor is telling me it found some real scary adwares while none of my regular anti-viruses detected this.
Is this a scam? I downloaded it from downloads.cnet so I know it is supposed to be safe.
