I had my MacBook Pro for a couple months and since i heard that you can’t get any viruses if you had a Mac i thought i didn’t need one. But i am pretty sure that if you have internet access no matter if it is a mac you still need an anti virus protection thing.
But i am not sure what is good for it. I heard Norton is a good security program.

Mac OS X, the operating system of every Mac, is based on UNIX. There are hardly any viruses for UNIX around, so if you use your brain and do not open random files from the internet, the chance of catching a computer virus is zero. There are billions of viruses for Microsoft Windows around, hence the chance of catching a computer virus is incredibly big. For Mac OS X no anti-virus solution is required. For Microsoft Windows an anti-virus solution is mandatory.
bananas of course duh Noton is full of **** they’ll **** you and your mac never use them
